The sixth notch on the boozy bedpost of San Francisco’s Natural Wine Week (8/24-8/30) is Russian Hill’s very own “comprehensive ion of wine, beer, and distilled spirits,” The Jug Shop. The shop will give a tasting of Italian “orange” wines (named for their color which results from long skin contact) on Saturday, August 29 from 4pm to 6pm. It’s the only afternoon tasting of the week (yay day drinking). In other words, RH takes the cake. Tickets cost $30/person.
