U.S. News and World Report named Lombard Street one of six roads to drive before you die, calling it “a staple of American culture” — okay, that’s a stretch. What ever happened to GAP hoodies and apple pie? I am happy to see Russian Hill’s celebrity street getting love, but let me remind you that the speed limit on our lady Lombard is a mere 5mph. Meanwhile the German Autobahn has no speed limit whatsoever, only an advisory speed limit of 80 mph. Live a little.

No joke, at least 3x a week I get people asking me directions to Lombard street. I’ve memorized them in 3 languages!
The most fun has been driving down Lombard at night and timing ourselves to see who could get down the fastest.
